Diana Fakiola "seeks to create innovation in organizational development, forging consensus among diverse constituencies, coaching, and team building. For the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece, she managed media relations by instituting constructive relations with a diverse and demanding international group of media specialists, journalists, and photographers. During all this, she found the time to mentor local staff and international volunteers and thereby built a cohesive multi-cultural team of diverse professionals. Before that, she developed and directed a program on improving cross-border relations between Turkey and Armenia, bringing together two groups with a long tradition of animosity and non-cooperation. These two activities were separated by a practicum in the Executive Office of the EastWest Institute focused on building economic partnerships for Russia and Ukraine. Diana is based in Athens, Greece." [1]
