"Trammel Crow Hungary (the legal predecessor of H.I.D.) was established in 1994 as a joint venture of Crow Holdings International, one of the world’s biggest property development and services corporations, and Wallis Real Estate Inc., a recognised player in the domestic property market. The mission of Trammel Crow Hungary, as formulated by its founders, was to provide world-class property-related services in the Hungarian market.

"The Company’s name changed to Crow Holdings Hungary Ltd. in 2000 and went on to gain professional recognition.

"The activities of the American parent company and with it the ownership structure of Crow Holdings underwent a change in 2004. The change of the foreign partner necessitated another change of name. The new name, H.I.D. Ltd., which the Company has been using ever since, is an acronym of Harbor Industrial Developer, a reference to the Company’s largest project (Harbor Park)." [1]

"The owners of H.I.D. are Robert Roethenmund and the managent of the firm. Robert Roethenmund is a Swiss businessman active in the international property market as an investor in and developer of shopping centres, logistics parks, hotels and office buildings. The management of the firm has more than seven years of experperience on the field of real estate development." [2]
