James W. Trowbridge

James W. Trowbridge is a Senior Advisor to New Rules for Global Finance. Mr. Trowbridge has an extensive career in foundations and nonprofit management and development, including 25 years as regional director and program officer of the Ford Foundation's domestic and international program divisions in diverse fields of educational and social development. Mr. Trowbridge was also managing director/operations of the pioneering consulting firm in corporate philanthropy organization and management, Contributions Management Inc., whose principal clients included: AT&T Foundation, SBC Corp, Digital Equipment, General Foods, Millipore, Searle, Shell Oil, Whirlpool. He has also consulted with international nonprofit organizations in strategic planning, program development, and resource mobilization. Mr. Trowbridge has a B.A. from Yale University and a M.A. from the University of Chicago.
