"Previously Jennie was at Deutsche Bank, where she was Global Head of Client Marketing for Corporate and Investment Banking, having joined in 2006 as the Global Head of Communications and Marketing for Global Banking. She was a member of the Global Banking Management Team. Jennie established and drove a best practice communications and marketing programme with key stakeholders that helped the bank to deliver demanding performance goals. Prior to this, Jennie was a senior executive with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) where she was a member of the company’s Corporate Executive Team, responsible globally for Corporate Communications, Investor Relations, Product communications, Corporate Responsibility and Community Partnerships, as well as serving as a member of the GSK Board’s Corporate Responsibility Committee. Jennie played a key role in the successful merger and integration between Glaxo Wellcome and SmithKline Beecham, which established GlaxoSmithKline as the second largest pharmaceutical company in the world and in the FTSE top 3. The merger was the largest in corporate history at the time. Prior to that Jennie was Head of Investor Relations at British Gas where she played a key role in the company’s de-merger." [1]
