Biographical Information

"John is a Chartered Accountant with extensive real estate investment experience prior to joining Target from his 5 years managing investments by Uberior Ventures, an HBOS company, in several third party companies. John played an active role as non-executive director alongside executive management teams, particularly in M&A activity and restructurings, in addition to normal directors duties’ and participation in audit and remuneration committees. John considered and approved several acquisition and development opportunities within the elderly healthcare sector during his time on the board of Myriad Healthcare Limited, parent company of the Caring Homes Group, a UK top-10 ranked elderly care provider.

"John was also part of the team responsible for HBOS’ investment in another large UK operating care home business. Post the successful exit of that investment John subsequently represented HBOS’ interest on the board of a phoenix business set up to develop new care homes for lease to care home operators.

"Prior to his involvement in real estate investment management, John spent a number of years at Bank of Scotland structuring finance packages for management buyouts alongside private equity houses. John started his career at Arthur Andersen where he worked on audits, financial due diligence and corporate finance projects."[1]
