Dr John Marks is Director of the Educational Research Trust and part time Director of the Education Unit at Civitas.
He is (or was?) Secretary of the Education Study Group at the Centre for Policy Studies.
Marks argues against the principle of comprehensive schools, and in favour of selective schooling.
He is father of blogger Kevin Marks.
