Kate Swann

Kate Swann was appointed Chief Executive of WH Smith PLC and "joined the Board in November 2003. She started her career at Tesco Plc as a Marketing Executive, before moving on to positions at Homepride Foods, Coca Cola Schweppes and Dixons Stores Group. She then worked for Homebase, ultimately as Managing Director, and in 2000 was made Managing Director of Argos. She is a non-executive director of The British Land Company PLC."
