Biographical Information

"argaret is a plant taxonomist and pollination ecologist by training. She has held a range of senior management positions, including being Director of the International Bee Research Association. She works at the University of Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership, co-leading an initiative that supports cross-sectoral collaborations between business and researchers to address the loss and degradation of natural resources.

"Margaret and Francoise Barbira Freedman have had a long and successful working relationship. In addition to being co-Founders of Ampika, in 1992 they set up an educational charity, Birthlight, to develop simple practices for parents, midwives, teachers and carers, inspired in part by the parenting style of Amazonian forest people."[1]
