National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) is a government center providing university researchers and educators with atmospheric research and research tools. [1] Located in Boulder, CO, NCAR is sponsored by the National Science Foundation.

NCAR is a leader in climate science and, has a particularly strong presence in climate science education through its Outreach Program.[2]
