Biography

"Neil was elected to Parliament in 2010...Neil's interests include Europe, economics, energy and foreign affairs, and he frequently makes contributions to Parliamentary debates on these topics. He recently took the Antarctic Act through Parliament, safeguarding both the Antarctic environment and British interests in the area for future generations...Neil was a Conservative County Councillor in Northumberland from 1989-93, Parliamentary Candidate for Leeds in 1992, and Parliamentary Candidate for the Stroud constituency in 2001 and 2005. During these years, he was actively involved in European and foreign affairs."[1]
