P. Scott Shearer

P. Scott Shearer joined Bergner, Bockorny, Castagnetti, Hawkins & Brain in January 2003.

Prior to that worked as Director of National Relations for Farmland Industries. Before that he worked as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Agriculture for the United States Department of Agriculture and, according to BBCHB's website, "with carriage of initiatives including the 1996 Farm Bill, trade policy, reorganization of USDA, crop insurance reform, food safety, and nutrition programs".

In the mid-1980s, he was the executive director of the National Corn Growers Association. Shearer is the lead lobbyist for on the Australian Government's account. [1]
