Pacific Democrat Union

This is an offshoot of the International Democrat Union established originally by conservatives for Margaret Thatcher. There was also a European Democrat Union (EDU). For many years the PDU was run by Australian Liberal Member of Parliament Bronwyn Bishop and Liberal Senator Robert Hill. The name of the organisation appears to have recently been changed to Asia Pacific Democrat Union.

Note that some branches use the term 'Democratic' while elsewhere they use 'Democrat'. [1]
