Robert L. Johnson was a Brown & Williamson Marketing Department Assistant Manager for the brands Raliegh, Capri.

Biography

Robert L. Johnson worked for Brown & Williamson in the Marketing Department as Assistant Brand Manager of Raleigh, Belair, Capri, Vanguard, Flair, Life, duMaurier, Tube Rose, and Plug in 1968, he was also Assistant Brand Manager of Export, Viceroy, Trade, SWR, Life, and Small Cigar Plug in 1970 and Brand Manager of Viceroy, SWR, Tube Rose, Long Cut, Plug, Scrap, and Prized Plug from 1971-72. He was also Brand Manager of Kool and Laredo in 1973 and Brand Manager of Product Planning (New Products, Extensions) in 1973. Johnson was Marketing Planning Project Manager in 1976 and Manager Marketing Planning in 1976 & 1978.

Johnson was in Organic Chemistry in the Research, Development and Engineering Department in1964 and 1976, he was a Senior Scientist from 1966-69, he was in Applied Product Research from 1972-73, Exploratory in 1976, Cigarette Design from 1976-77, Special Projects Supervisor in 1979 and Research Scientist from 1980-88.
