"Salamatu Suleiman holds an LL.B from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and an LL.M from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Salamatu Suleiman served as a former Commissioner for Political Affairs Peace and Security for ECOWAS and also served as a Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Federal Republic of Nigeria. She is currently the founder of Alkali Hussaini Foundation (for poverty eradication and empowerment of the less privileged)."[1]
