Biographical Information

"Recently Chief Adviser for London Schools and formerly Chief Education Officer of Birmingham and Oxfordshire, Tim Brighouse graduated in Modern History from Oxford University in 1961. He taught in state schools and was Professor of Education at Keele University for four years between his posts in Oxfordshire and Birmingham. He has written books on school improvement, is a school governor and has been a non-executive board member of Research Machines plc."[1]
