John W. Ernst (Brown & Williamson Leaf & Crop Evaluation): Leaf & Crop Evaluation

Biography

John W. Ernst worked for Brown & Williamson in the RD&E Department. He was involved with Leaf & Crop Evaluation, Leaf Analysis, and Tobacco Samples in 1967. Ernst was a Research Scientist in 1985 and Research Scientist (Leaf Technology) from 1980-84. He worked with Leaf Blending Research in 1979 and 1976; he also was Leaf Blending Supervisor from 1976-77. Ernst was involved in the RD&E Department in 1990 and was Senior Development Specialist II from 1985-88. He worked Small Plant Studies in 1964 and a Group Leader of Small Plants from 1966-67. In 1970 he was Storing and Aging Group Leader and from 1972-73 he was in Agronomy. (Source: Brown & Williamson's Initial Disclosure, State of Texas vs. ATC, et al., 6/5/96)
