Elizabeth Nosworthy "is Chair of the Queensland Water Commission, Deputy Chair of Babcock & Brown Limited and Chair of Commander Communications Limited.

"She has extensive experience has held a range of directorships in both the private and the public sectors. Currently, Elizabeth is also a director of GPT Group and Ventracor Limited, Deputy Chairman of the Clean Coal Technology Board, member of the Business Roundtable on Sustainable Development and an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Queensland.

"Elizabeth was a member of the National Competition Council for five years, and former Chairman of Port of Brisbane Corporation Limited and Stanwell Corporation Limited. Her other previous directorships include Telstra, David Jones, Brisbane Airport and ANI.

"Before pursuing a career as a full time non-executive director, Elizabeth was a partner of a national legal firm, and has had more than 20 years experience as a commercial lawyer specialising in infrastructure projects.

"She has a BA LLB from The University of Queensland, an LLM from London School of Economics and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors." [1]
