Lee B. Cullum
Lee Cullum "is a journalist who contributes columns to the Dallas Morning News and commentaries to the National Public Radio station in North Texas. She has done regular commentary on “The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer” on PBS and for “All Things Considered” on NPR. In addition she has appeared on ABC’s Nightline. MSNBC, CNN, and television news programs in Europe. She also has done political analysis for the CBS affiliate in Dallas-Forth Worth. Cullum hosted “Conversations,” a series of biographical interviews for the DFW public television stations. In addition, she has conducted workshops on journalism in Central and Eastern Europe. She is author of Genius Came Early Creativity in the Twentieth Century.
"Lee Cullum formerly was editor of the editorial page of the Dallas Times Herald. She also edited D magazine which won a National Magazine Award during her tenure. She serves on the board of the Pacific Council on International Policy and the Sammons Foundation as well as the board of Visitors of the International Program Center of the University of Oklahoma. Previously on the board of the Council on Foreign Relations, she is a member of CFR, the Trilateral Commission, the InterAmerican Dialogue, the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations, the American Council on Germany and the National Conference of Editorial Writers. She has been awarded honorary degrees by the Monterey Institute of International Studies and the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington."
