Biographical Information

"Cllr Nick Rushton is Deputy Leader of Leicestershire County Council and member of the Cabinet with specific responsibility for Highways & Transportation matters. He was first elected to Leicestershire County Council in 1989 representing the Ashby Division. In 2001 he stood for re election and was elected to represent the Breedon Electoral Division. Following a boundary review Nick was re-elected in 2005 representing the new Valley Division. Nick is also a District councillor on NWLDC, representing the Breedon ward and at present he is in the cabinet as the portfolio holder for place shaping."[1]
