Steven Wolfe

Steven Wolfe "serves as the director of Council for the Future. Wolfe is an expert in management of non-profit organizations, with sixteen years experience in the field. Wolfe also spent over five years as the legislative aide for space policy to the late Congressman George E. Brown, Jr. (D-CA), where he drafted the Space Settlement Act of 1988 (contained in Public Law 100-685). Wolfe served as Executive Director of the Congressional Space Caucus and on the Board of the National Space Society. He is an Advocate of the Space Frontier Foundation. His writings on space topics have appeared in publications including The New York Times, Space News, Space Front and Ad Astra. An essay by Wolfe, "The Conscious Evolutionary Choice," appears in the book Return to the Moon. He has appeared on radio and television commenting on space issues. Wolfe, along with William E. Burrows and Robert Shapiro, developed the idea for a lunar archive project called the Alliance to Rescue Civilizations. Most recently, Wolfe has spearheaded, along with Barbara Marx Hubbard, the creation of the Council for the Future, a coalition project of future-oriented organizations." [1]
